On Wednesday, our Year 13 Performing Arts students performed at Thriftwood College to the entire cohort of students.

Our Year 13s have been working on a 'community theatre' performance, aimed at students with additional learning needs, using the theme 'Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging.'

There were two performances, one in a completely physical theatre style using the story of the Lost Boys from Peter Pan and the other took inspiration from the musical, Dear Evan Hansen.

The students at Thriftwood responded brilliantly to the performances, with a few tears at the end! It was a very humbling experience for our students and extremely rewarding; seeing firsthand the power of the arts and the impact this kind of experience can have on others.
